laurareen Thank you. I see, that this is the same issue.
So, maybe, untill this issue will be solved it is better to outline live stroke?
Laima right now i'm trying not to upload icons with dotted stroke... or expanding them to shape (but this cannot work for fully outline icon sets)
Laima
Hi Laima,
That is right. The dotted lines still do not work on Iconfinder, unfortunately. Hopefully, this can be fixed in the near future.
P.S. Laura, thank you for helping out Laima here! 🌻
I would just expand the dotted lines until there is a fix for this. If you have many icons in the set using the dotted line, then expand the whole set.
Thank you. Your answers helped me to make a decision 😄
Laima Thank you for reporting this issue.
If I try to download the SVG directly, I get the same rendering as on the generated previews. Figma renders them the same way. Can you tell us which application are you using when creating the icons and maybe the SVG export options?
Emil-Iconfinder I uploaded new icons with no dots. So now the preview is the same as my SVG. Icons were made with the illustrator and exported to SVG with auto options
Laima Ah ok, that makes sense 🙂 Can I ask you to send us the version with the dots to support@iconfinder.com, so we can test with it?
@Laima @laurareen we are working on a general update of our rendering mechanism that should be deployed soon. I just tested with Laima's icons and they render perfectly, so soon you will be able to get these nice icons out with all their details! 😄
Emil-Iconfinder Hi Emil,
do you still need another examples of such dotted outline?
laurareen Thank you for offering your help! You can send a few example SVG files to support@iconfinder.com.
