Good day everyone.
I was going through this blog post and found an interesting topic which is about creating glyph version of an outline icon. I think this is a coincidence because I was also trying to do the same thing this evening 😃 So what do you guys do to create glyph version? What are the main things I should keep in mind? I'm highly interested to know about your approaches.
Looking forward to your comments 🙂
Glyphs in my mind are a special care case for icons, you have to balance out fills and negative space to make them work, not just carve the lines of an outline icon set into a black fill board, as many of these direct conversions are.
Bogdan-from-Iconfinder thanks for your comment. Yes, we've to be very careful about the negative space. But seems like I've to start from scratch to make the glyph version 😬 I think outline icons are much easier to make than glyph icons.
